Regardless of where you're going, you’ll want to make sure what you’re bringing isn’t more than what’s allowed. Here are the rules.

Hand luggage
Warning: Because of new security measures adopted, it is necessary to arrive at the airport with a higher advance. See Security Controls for details.
You may bring a bag and an article for personal use per passenger, provided that:
- Weights less than 40 lbs (18 kg).
- The sum of the three dimensions (length + width + height) does not exceed 112.5 cm.
- SizeWise ® can be contained in the unit (approximately 55 x 35 x 22.5 cm).
- can be accommodated in the compartment above the seat or under the seat in front.
Here are some examples of articles of personal use:
- bag woman purse or briefcase for men

- Camera Case
- diaper bag
- items of similar size or smaller than those indicated above, such
portable electronic items.
These additional items can be brought on board the aircraft and do not count toward the deductible:
- Food for immediate consumption
- Walking aids such as wheelchairs or crutches, provided that it is necessary to move to the passenger.
- A box or bag of duty-free
- A coat or jacket An umbrella
- A copy of reading material
there may be additional restrictions on hand luggage, according to space available, and additional restrictions on some flights.

Upon check-in is possible to deliver two bags per passenger at no extra cost.
requirements of each bag:
- the weight must not exceed 50 pounds (22.5 kg).
- the sum of length, width and height must not exceed 155 cm.

Exceptions:
- Passengers traveling to or from Key West and Marathon, Florida are limited to only one checked bag.
- for tickets purchased in Brazil, the allowance is 70 lbs (32 kg).
Except for the boxes with the original seal of the factory, which will be accepted on the basis of a stand-by list, we do not accept boxes delivered to check in for flights to Central America or South America (except Brazil, Mexico and Chile) at any time of year.
Some packages, sporting goods , musical instruments and fragile or bulky require special treatment. For more information on special items, see Special Baggage .
Conditions of Eligibility
Delta will accept your baggage to carry, unless the following conditions are met:
- All luggage is subject to inspection.
- We reserve the right to refuse baggage whose size, weight, nature or conditions are unsuitable for carriage on the particular type of aircraft on which it must be delivered or can not be accommodated without harming or annoying passengers.
- The requirements for check-in luggage, which vary by airport, must be respected. Please see Requirements Airport Check-in for details.
- The baggage must be delivered at check-in at an airport or city office designated by Delta.
- The baggage must be marked with the name of the owner.
- The baggage will be sent to a destination that is not included in the itinerary of the passenger.
